Dreams can come true…

So this week started my new adventure in life. I got to start my dream internship. I can contest that working hard and never giving up on your dreams that they can come true. I just happen to have an amazing God on my side who has given me the tools to succeed in making this come true. So when you feel like giving up on your dreams or they seem unreachable is the point when you need to dig a little harder and go after it like never before. No dream is to big or to small to go after no matter what others say or how long it takes. Never give up, always work hard, and live your life to the fullest. It’s about waking up and loving what you do. We only have one life so why not make it worth it….LIVE IT!!! šŸ™‚

The essence of happiness…

Have you ever woke up and just been inspired? This morning I can say I have been inspired…I’m dreamer and someone who loves to live life on the edge making those things come reality. Either jumping in a car to drive across the country or flying across the world to experience something so pure and so unbelievable. To say one day I stood at the Great Wall of China or jumped off a cliff in crystal blue water…I want say I lived, I dreamed, I traveled…I followed my heart..capturing a essence of happiness and joy..We sit day to day doing a daily routine and never making time to live…We get so wrapped up in making money that we never have time to experience the wonders of the world. We work so hard and forget how it feels to make memories…why not make time? I challenge you once a week to not worry about work to not worry about the stress that comes with life, but to take time to yourself or with friends and make a moment you will never forget…Life doesn’t stop so why not live it without a worry. From a simple gathering to watch a movie to flying to a foreign country with your best friend…Make the time you have with the ones who love you…make time with yourself…find your inner dreamer and go…and maybe you will inspire a stranger or even a friend or two…

Growing Up

I cannot believe I walked out of my last class for the last time as an undergrad yesterday. A feeling of utter joy, but at the same time I’m going to miss this wonderful university that I attend. I have accomplished so much and I’m proud to say I am a Eagle! The memories I will leave behind will never be forgotten, the friendships I have gained will only get stronger and an education that I am more than gratefully thankful for. Here is to making new memories with my best friends, exploring the world, laughing with my family, and living my dreams. Thankful, blessed and above all I thank the one who has made anything and everything possible in my life and that is my savor, the Lord above!

never let a test determine your fait

I watched this video the other day that made me think of how testing does not tell you who someone is by them making A or a C. We are made to think that if we are not the best we will fail, and if we fail we will never amount to nothing. I was the student that made A’s and B’s in high school, but sucked at testing! I got Hope Scholarship (GA student) and still managed to not be let into the College of my choice. My dreams of playing college ball faded due to not testing well and my dreams that I always dreamed of being began to slowly became a distant memory. I was even told once that because I failed I couldn’t ever be something despite how much passion I had for it. I was told by a high school even though I made all A’s in math, but did poorly on an the math portion of an entrance exam I needed to be held back a grade to go to there school. Despite all this I can say all the negativity has not kept me from doing what I want to do. When someone says I can’t do somethingĀ  I just remember that they are the ones that are insecure with themselves. To put someone down because they failed once doesn’t mean they could never do it. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times of failing to get to the top. Its about how much drive you have to never give up, to take negavitiy and make it positive, and to make your dreams reality no matter what someone says. I will be graduating from the same college this December that the 16yr old Kim wrote in her Jr. year book for school. I have traveled through some schools to get where I am today! Despite not being an architect, designing layouts, being a physical therapist I am living my first love dream to one day work for the NBA. So thank you to the ones who told me I would never be what I wanted to be, thank you for your negativity because I am right where I want to be. Living my life to the fullest, making my dreams come true, and serving a God who has never failed me! The skills God blesses you with might not shine through a test, but will shine when you are put to work. Never look at a grade you got on a test and be discouraged, but work your hardest and make your life your own. Take your passions you have in life and make them yours! Be you and never let someones input become your own!

Be Courageous…

Joshua 1:9 – “This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Hey guys! šŸ˜‰

Have you ever felt like your stuck going no where, afraid to take chances, or not strong enough to challenge yourself to do better things?

This verse is my go to verse when I feel discouraged/afraid to take chances in life…

I think we get to a point where we scare ourselves out of new opportunities

or we forget to put our trust in God.

God is my strength, the one who gives me the courage to go after things that I could never do on my own…

So before you get discourage and quit … hold onto faith, be patient, and be courageous because God is beside you

just like this verse states!

He will never fail you nor leave you

He knows you heart…

So I challenge you to take that leap of faith and never look back

HAPPY TUESDAY!!!!!!

-Kim

Letting your heart Travel

Ever since I went to Italy a year ago I have had this rush of adrenaline to take every chance I have to travel. When I was a kid I always said once I had the money you would never find me in one place. Well I don’t have the money (#collegestudentproblems), but I do save my money so when an opportunity comes my way my plane ticket is booked and I’m on to my next adventure. This being said, I will be embarking on my first trip to the West Coast in 4 weeks! I have the opportunity to explore Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; and San Fran! It is probably going to be a trip to remember! Not only do I get to explore these beautiful cities, I get to go to a few MLB games, meet with the marketing departments of these teams, a few colleges, and a few sport organizations. My best friends can tell you I am a sport junkie! I mean my degree is Sport Management! šŸ˜‰Ā  This being said when you have the chance to travel or even be adventurous take the chance and go. You never know if tomorrow will be your last or if you will ever have another chance to ever go…so let that heart of yours travel, explorer, and make new memories with those around you! I’m already planning my next adventures for this year…Come December I will have experienced a festival, a few more concerts, Chicago, and Central or South America. My motto is take chances, live life, and never look back … Are you ready to take that chance, hop on a plane, and just travel where ever your heart desires??

Motivation Wednesday

Motivation Wednesday:

Don’t focus on how much time has past to get where you want in lifeĀ  … look at the journey and the growth it took for you to get there. Everything you go through and every path you take there was a reason behind it all. So keep moving forward and never give up on your dreams even when life seems to be going no where.

A Fathers Love

Today has been such a wonderful day! So happy to have the dad I have! He is such a caring man, with a heart filled with love and joy. He would do anything for me and my sister. Since I was a kid I have been a daddy’s girl! His warm hugs he would give me as I ran to the door when he came home from work. He has taught me so much over my 23 years of life. From teaching me to be a strong, independent, loving, caring women and encouraging me to do the best I can and to never give up on my dreams. I thank him for blessing with such a wonderful life. One fact about me and my dad is that we both love sports. It is one thing we can talk and watch all day. It is a way for us to take a break from our crazy lives and spend time together. We are huge Braves fans! For fathers day me and him went and saw the Braves play last week. Even me being 23 I still have just as much fun walking into Turner field and cheering on the Braves with my dad. Today me and the family spent the day with my father together going to church, eating, and watching baseball. I wouldn’t of asked for a better day! Love you dad!
