NOLA – New Adventure; New Home

Life has taken me on a new adventure…Packed my life into suit cases, jumped in my car and took an amazing opportunity. 10hours later I pulled up to my new home, New Orleans! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was more then thrilled to be in a new city and getting a chance to live my dreams. The food, their hospitality and their fans are the best I’ve ever seen. It’s nice to be in a city where you find true sports fans who schedule everything around a sporting event or even a festival. It takes you back to the days where the small towns would close everything down just to watch their high school team play under the Friday night lights! You won’t walk far without hearing “whodat” or “go Saints” around here. Truly an amazing community here in Louisiana! I still haven’t seen or experienced everything yet, but I will be blogging about all my new adventures! Till then Gooo Pelicans!!!

*Still waiting on my camera to get here, but for now here is a little of New Orleans through my eyes aka my iphone lol 😉

Letting your heart Travel

Ever since I went to Italy a year ago I have had this rush of adrenaline to take every chance I have to travel. When I was a kid I always said once I had the money you would never find me in one place. Well I don’t have the money (#collegestudentproblems), but I do save my money so when an opportunity comes my way my plane ticket is booked and I’m on to my next adventure. This being said, I will be embarking on my first trip to the West Coast in 4 weeks! I have the opportunity to explore Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; and San Fran! It is probably going to be a trip to remember! Not only do I get to explore these beautiful cities, I get to go to a few MLB games, meet with the marketing departments of these teams, a few colleges, and a few sport organizations. My best friends can tell you I am a sport junkie! I mean my degree is Sport Management! 😉  This being said when you have the chance to travel or even be adventurous take the chance and go. You never know if tomorrow will be your last or if you will ever have another chance to ever go…so let that heart of yours travel, explorer, and make new memories with those around you! I’m already planning my next adventures for this year…Come December I will have experienced a festival, a few more concerts, Chicago, and Central or South America. My motto is take chances, live life, and never look back … Are you ready to take that chance, hop on a plane, and just travel where ever your heart desires??

🙂 It’s the weekend ENJOY!

How I spent my Labor Day weekend…

These are the weekends I live for! Good friends and fun times! How did you spend your Labor Day weekend?? 😉

End of Summer

Well today is my last day of summer! Can’t believe how fast this summer has flown by. Despite losing my first faithful loving dog and stressing about my summer classes this summer wasn’t that bad! I started it off with a Dave Matthews concert in Atlanta and ended it yesterday with a Jason Mraz concert in Atlanta! In between was filled with random getaways, movies, spending time with my boyfriend, and nights out with friends! Even though I am not looking forward to studying, I am looking forward to ending this year with a bang! Hopefully some much needed weekend beach time, lots of football, a Carrie Underwood concert, a Titans football game, a color rad run, and Chipper Jones last home game [and that’s just September :)] I hope everyone had a great summer and weekend as well!! 🙂
