NOLA – New Adventure; New Home

Life has taken me on a new adventure…Packed my life into suit cases, jumped in my car and took an amazing opportunity. 10hours later I pulled up to my new home, New Orleans! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was more then thrilled to be in a new city and getting a chance to live my dreams. The food, their hospitality and their fans are the best I’ve ever seen. It’s nice to be in a city where you find true sports fans who schedule everything around a sporting event or even a festival. It takes you back to the days where the small towns would close everything down just to watch their high school team play under the Friday night lights! You won’t walk far without hearing “whodat” or “go Saints” around here. Truly an amazing community here in Louisiana! I still haven’t seen or experienced everything yet, but I will be blogging about all my new adventures! Till then Gooo Pelicans!!!

Nuevo/Puerto Vallarta

For graduation my parents gave me a trip to Mexico. It was such an awesome trip to just take a break from life and relax on the beach. It was like staying in “Palm Springs” lol.  Anything you wanted to do you could do.  We spent a few days exploring the cities outside of Nuevo/Puerto Vallarta. We got see their culture, walk through their markets, be adventurous and eat such amazing food. I love me some Pozole now! Soo good! It made me have more of an appreciation for their country. Pure joy comes out of these cities.  . It was overall a perfect vacation. I will defiantly go back to Mexico, but next time I will know Spanish! 😉

The essence of happiness…

Have you ever woke up and just been inspired? This morning I can say I have been inspired…I’m dreamer and someone who loves to live life on the edge making those things come reality. Either jumping in a car to drive across the country or flying across the world to experience something so pure and so unbelievable. To say one day I stood at the Great Wall of China or jumped off a cliff in crystal blue water…I want say I lived, I dreamed, I traveled…I followed my heart..capturing a essence of happiness and joy..We sit day to day doing a daily routine and never making time to live…We get so wrapped up in making money that we never have time to experience the wonders of the world. We work so hard and forget how it feels to make memories…why not make time? I challenge you once a week to not worry about work to not worry about the stress that comes with life, but to take time to yourself or with friends and make a moment you will never forget…Life doesn’t stop so why not live it without a worry. From a simple gathering to watch a movie to flying to a foreign country with your best friend…Make the time you have with the ones who love you…make time with yourself…find your inner dreamer and go…and maybe you will inspire a stranger or even a friend or two…

Travels

Loving the weather today…perfect to spend it outside with a good book!! 😉 But for now a written final and presentation stand in my way of getting on a plane Saturday and flying to the west coast!! Can’t wait to see that side of the United States! I hope everyone has a marvelous week and I am looking forward to updating you guys on my wonderful adventure!!

Goodbye Winter Hello Spring

This past weekend included no sleep, a final four experience, heart to heart conversations with my bestie, and an adventure in Atlanta … I have to say it was all worth no sleep, but I am exhausted … Here is to a week of going to bed at grandmas time and sleeping in when I can … Life is grand and the weather is beautiful …

As i look out on my balcony to see the ocean breeze holding its breath and the birds flying ever so softly  across the sea I begin to cherish what God created as I am mesmerized by its beauty and the art that forms before me…I couldn’t believe how blessed I am to be where I am and to have a best friend to cherish these moments with… But as life began to unfreeze and the breeze began to flow again we just wait until our next adventure to capture yet anothe piece of Gods creation…

-I wrote this yesterday, but of course when your on vacation its best to put your phone down and enjoy life without technology sometimes!
